
POV: This is what I emerged after I dusted off my 20+ year old wah wah pedal.
This song was written with my paternal Grandfather (who I never met), in mind - He expressed a classic Southern ethic of hard work that was passed on to subsequent generations. Musically, I have introduced more collaboration with guest musicians providing (real) drums, banjo and mandolin.
