Al Crews is a singer/songwriter who (at least according to his son) endured a soul sucking corporate career, but is now pursuing his original passion of writing and recording music. His songs draw from diverse influences including rock, jazz, blues, country and Americana.
Blessed to have had the opportunity to play and collaborate with world class musicians in his earlier years, Al was inspired to get back in the game after reconnecting with a number of musical friends. The initial result is a series of singles being released every few weeks, that will ultimately be combined in an album with the same title as his debut single "Grumpy Old Man". All of these songs were written and recorded over the past couple of years as Al contemplated his exit from corporate America.
He hopes you will give them a listen and find something in this collection that resonates for you. According to Al, the process itself has been cathartic and rewarding - he hopes that others may find inspiration in his efforts and realize that it is never too late to pursue your true passions!
